Rashida Kimbrue

As an Associate of Data, Policy and Reports, Rashida analyzes data to build and support policy strategy in Chicago’s education landscape. She is excited to leverage her commitment to improving schools through effective data analysis. She is passionate about closing opportunity gaps through school policy, especially in urban areas.

Rashida comes to The Fund by way of Washington, where she most recently worked as an Operations Coordinator and Data Specialist at AppleTree Early Learning Public Charter School. She also served as an Education Pioneers Fellow for the New York City Department of Education within the Office of Interschool Collaborative Programs where she worked with schools to identify and share out best practices with principals, teachers and network leaders.

Through these varied positions, she became extremely interested in ensuring students and teachers have access to necessary resources. In each of her roles, she learned that systematic change is essential to overall growth in communities and progress in education.

Rashida earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hampton University and a Master of Arts in Public Relations from Full Sail University in Florida. She enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends and volunteering.
